The Ducati Multistrada I rode recently had those from the factory and were quite nice. It also had heated grips, which ruled.

I did have rain gear. It still sucks being cold.

Hell, I'll use heated grips when it's 50+ out, just to make it a little more comfortable at highway speeds. Windchill is no joke and I'm a sissy.

I’m actually really excited about Harley’s new products. I don’t think either of them is a direct FTR competitor, though.

Back when I rode I did some RIDICULOUS winter riding. I lived in Boston for a few years and would commute to work on a Honda Rebel 400. One day I did so at 15 degrees. Even with thick gloves I couldn’t feel my fingers in 5 minutes.

Nice bike. It is hard to imagine Harley-Davidson is doing so badly on the product front, given Indian, albeit a revived American brand, revived by an American company, is basically cranking out new products very frequently.

I have, and frequently do, ride in 40s and below. This weekend I did 500 miles on a Royal Enfield with temps as low as 30 and snow in the air. I would have loved heated grips on that, too.

The back of my helmet and my jacket were pelted with grime. It wasn’t pleasant, but it was worth it.

Big engine, no fairing, and a rev-happy rider, I imagine.

90 miles on one tank? 90??!! That's 26.5 mpg. And yes you were riding it hard but why so bad?

With all that water around how messy is the bike and rider with those fenders?

Range is... a bummer

I’m a fan, but the range and lack of TC is a negative. The lack of TC seems particularly stingy considering it has the IMU etc.. for lean sensitive ABS, so in essence they’re just not turning it on.

I’d wager they fully expected to break the car, they just didn’t know what they were going to break.

Neutral: I ride my bicycle with my toddler. Currently thinking about upgrading to a touring bicycle or a cargo bike to better fit her.

that’s one more than 999,999! good for them

yes. also we have plenty of coverage on the new evs, you could start here. also also I was at the first “reveal” for the Lyriq back when Cadillac wedged it in at the end of the CT6 reveal and didn’t even have a name for us to call it in our articles. horrible management of a huge announcement. so I’m actually happy

The only thing going viral that night was likely the coronavirus itself, anyway.
