$55k is not a ton less than the $59k an M2 competition costs either. That car makes more power than the Supra, is more practical and can be had with a stick.

Bold! But not wrong. The back end really bugs me. It’s all huge and square for reasons. Seems like GM prioritized the fit of golf bags in the trunk over aesthetics.
I’m not saying buy a Supra but I wouldn’t be seen in a C8 unless you put a gun to my head. It’s one ugly motherfucker.
It still seems like a lot even at higher incomes. I’ve got higher than usual rent because fucking major coastal cities, but make over $200k/yr. I own my current car outright, and I can’t see a scenario when I’d willingly take on an additional $500/mo payment just for . . . some goddamn touch screens? A car that beeps…
Median incoming in my area is $75K, and many earns below that. So when they cruise around in their brand new accord touring, I can pretty much bet they did it on no money down and probably with crappy credit.
Its truly astonishing how much people spend. $500 a month is bananas. I spend quite a lot on rent to live alone, so my budget is a little different than most people, but I still cant see how people budget for that much a month in addition to rent. I make over 50k and it seems like picking up a $500/mo car payment is…
I’d be curious to see what the income to car payment ratio is with these car buyers.
Jesus Christ, the only thing in my budget that even kisses $569 or over a month is my goddamn rent. Unless you desperately need specific features for work, that is way too much money to spend on a negative asset.
Yep, gloating will bite you in the ass, Jim. He obviously didn’t listen to his P.R. people and just threw it out there. Hubris is obviously not his strong point.
I will be interesting to see if it will actually compete on fuel economy numbers. The old 4.0 was sooo far behind even the Tacoma 4.0 with similar 5 speeds when it came to real world numbers. Still the new engine sounds stout and im glad they didn’t pull a toyota and completely gut the engine of torque in the name of…
I guess I just wish whatever sound came into the cabin was an honest sound, know what I mean? I live in SoCal and all the other Volvo bros I talk to in the forums say I should go “catless,” but aside from how illegal that is? I don’t think I could stand the constant drone of that T5 growling all the time.
Haha, you mean because you wish it were always on or never on?
I will never get over it! If we get over it, why does Porsche keep making 911s? Far more money to be made in mass-appeal crossovers!
I also forgot to mention the BMW X4 M Competition, which I actually drove somewhat recently. (That’s what the comment section is for!)
Funnily enough the Stelvio isn’t mentioned, even though it is the closest rival in terms of driving dynamics.
Those are two different examples.
I’m a bit confused, what’s making up the difference between the $45k sale price on the buyer’s screenshot and the $78k sales price from the dealer?
A - ha!
CroZZover. :(
But the current logo is old enough to be retro
