But remember, Tesla sold the car on 11/15. When they did the audit, they were no longer the owners of the car.

I'm thinking the motors might be inboard with a short driveshaft. As long as the motor is bolted to the chassis and not the actual wheel, unsprung mass shouldn't be a problem.
