What an angry looking Sciyota! From certain angles it reminds me a little of the 458 Italia... The giant front fender flares, scowling headlights and red paint don't hurt, either.

My favorite Japanese-German mashup was pulled off by the evil genius who put a RB26DETT into an E30: [jalopnik.com]

Haha!

"All is going well until the zed-oh-six becomes zed-oh-SHIT."

Probably way above average for certain demographics...

So I realized my mistake - the 540iT wasn't available with the 6-speed manual. I was flip-flopping between the 540i sedan and wagon when I wrote that, and must have forgotten to change everything to correspond to the sedan before posting.

Very good call. Nothing more incognito than a people-mover.

I'm a BMW guy myself, but I think the Audi RS6 Avant is a pretty good sleeper. Twin-turbo V10, wagon, quattro. De-badged and half the drivers on the road won't even be able to tell it apart from an A4 avant.

Good price on a very unique car, but I think the vast majority of everyone here would be happier with a 540i/6MT. You get the same engine, transmission, and interior in a smaller, lighter package. Without worrying about who did the tranny swap.

Made in China. Made of China.

Hey, I just googled "brown bmw e9 3.0 csi" and that came up, honest! Apparently it was a recent barn find.

The Escalade driver jumped the gun a little bit. He was maybe a tenth of a second early, but in a race that close it could make all the difference in the world.

I was gonna say that, so instead I'll say this:

I don't really know if my automotive history is worthy of being posted here, but I guess I'll let my fellow commentariat be the judge.

"1993 BMW E36 with a BMW M70 V12 swap"

Looks like I'm going to Dubai for some used-car shopping.

A non-operational, 26-year old SUV with an engine swap that is NOT a classic. Did I miss anything? CP without a second thought.

I'm pretty sure Poland disagrees.

Crack pipe.
