That's a nice story... is she single?

F this, I'm out too.

Wow. What happened to a tribal symbol, barbed wire, or "Mom"?

Fuel economy and 'Ring time?

awesome image that I want to upload/link to... where's the button?!

"My faithful STi, with its brand new stage-two modification pulled us out from under a seven foot diameter tree."

I wish there was a third voting choice: "meh". It's not what I would consider a nice price, but it's not really crack pipe territory either because of the claimed low mileage. On the other hand, tears in the seats and missing panels in the rear... I'd say $4k is closer to the sweet spot. This is assuming, of

That's like saying the E39 M5 Touring is not for real. Which is not correct. It does exist, because some guy's just photographed it, which means it IS for real. It just won't be made.

Gotta go with the Subaru WRX wagon on this one. Decent mileage, plenty of seating, can hold plenty of groceries in the back, roof rack for larger stuff, AWD for rain/snow, reliable, sporty, won't break the bank.

I call BS. I've been paying $4.3999/gal for 91 octane for over a week in California. 87 octane sells for $4.0999-4.1999.

My E39 530i with the manual transmission. Great dynamics, comfortable, aerodynamic, and I routinely get mid-30's on the freeway.

Absolutely... MPGs and torques - great choice.

+1. I routinely got 30 (city) - 40 (highway) mpg on my R6. Great for fun and efficiency and parking, bad on practicality and safety (in some situations)...

I was watching CNN last night when they cut to the live coverage of the quake... Seeing the tsunami hit Sendai and the boats, cars and burning buildings being washed on-shore was absolutely surreal. I'm thankful the epicenter wasn't closer to Japan and that Japan was so well-prepared, a la building codes, awareness,

Not in my book. Or you could convert it to electric, as long as you can get more range than the replica Porsche 356 from a couple days ago.

Fuckin' skanks.

Love the car and the engine, but like many discerning commenters who have spoken before me, I'd have one without those wheels.

Sonic boom @ 3:11.

Great looking car. Seems like the internals have been kept reasonably stock, which is a plus for a BMW of this age (as is the low mileage!). If I hadn't bought an E39 6 months ago, I would seriously consider buying this.

It's not April 1st, and I can't find anything else about this supposed security breach online. Did you guys get hacked again?
