Dear Ford,

I would totally ride that to work each day. Much more stylish than a regular bicycle, a friend/passenger can share in the work of locomotion, and when it rains you don't get soaked! Brilliant!

@Maymar: All those cars were driven by Harvey Keitel?!

This video needs a Veyron chase/camera car.

I wish you fair skies and tailwinds, good sir. Thanks for all your entertaining and informative articles, don't forget us little commenter-people, and remember to keep the rubber side down!

Zoom zoom. Bravo to DARPA, USAF and Boeing, but I wonder how long it will take to mature this technology to the point of commercial adoption, or if it will be limited to military applications only.

Nice picture, sorry you didn't win the lottery.

I have lost all faith.

If this is legit, WOO HOO!

Church of Scientology vs. 4chan. You can not win a fight against the internet.

@Turbineguy - now with reheat!!: As pointless as the 1-series is, it would make a nice home for that engine too. And because it doesn't produce Olympian torque, we could get it with a real 6-speed manual gearbox!

@Møbius: The next time there's a war in Europe, the loser keeps France.

BMW obviously thinks we Americans have no sense of style (X6, 550GT, X3, etc.) and no concept of fuel economy. What's it cost to import a 320d? Would it even run on our diesel (IIRC, US diesel has a higher sulfur content than European diesel)?

What, no Dacia? Captain Slow would be disappointed.

I'd keep it. Think of the expression on the officer's face after you get pulled over and give him/her your license.

A gorgeous machine and a triumph of engineering. I'd still have an 848 though - more power and supposedly the reliability of Ducati engines has gone way up in the last few years. But I wouldn't say no if someone offered me one.

$32,294.66 for a spec'ed-out Scion xB. Base MSRP: $16,800.
