yeah from an actual game design standpoint Pokemon GO is pretty crap. so any stripped down or even reskinned version of that is just going to be pure garbage without any solid IP to save it. i often joke that Pokemon GO is the game with systems i hate to love to play.

pretty much this. Unity dominated first out the gate in democratizing game dev on small scales exactly at a time in the industry when it was needed (hand-in-hand with mobile as a disruptor). it was leading the charge. so much so that epic pivoted and released UE4 publicly (UE3 was not free prior, and it was licensed

worked at EA LA while he was in charge so yeah...

yeah, no need to rush a good thing.  also, i didn’t know about the netflix deal.  pants = tight.

an old fuck like him could easily choke on his own pillow in the middle of the night.  seems legit.  not guilty.

in my minds eye i just see a world where gunfights break out randomly all over the place. some dude pulls a gun and starts shooting, then some other dudes whip out theirs and fire back...next thing you know the entirety of your kid’s junior baseball game is a warzone.

life and love are intertwined.  why these monsters celebrate death and glut themselves on hate.

some nights i lie awake thinking that the only way out...is through.  that whatever horrors await must be lived and survived in order for things to get better...

guarantee that it went something like this:
1) - folks be playin’ some awesome music and gettin’ down
2) - karen is mad and tells them to stop cuz of the children
3) - they argue that they have every right to be there dancing
4) - karen is intimidated and begins shouting that she’s the one being harassed and threatened
5)

the housing market is insane. with current prices on two-bedrooms in most urban areas $2600/month on rent is just barely within budget when considering the down payment on a new home + fees + insurance + property tax + escrow + principle + interest. a house is a luxury item now. most people can’t afford them anymore.

i think it’s important to understand their frame of mind is that they’re fighting evil. that killing evil is a righteous act sanctioned by god. the life they are taking is an evil life, and thus is deserving of death as a form of god’s retribution. so in their head, they’re still pro-life. but yeah, the sickness is

agree wholeheartedly with your assessments here!

i literally fell asleep during the first hour of playthrough on Observer...then never went back to complete it.  i feel like i should?  but man it was kinda’ boring in that first portion.

yes, this entirely.  i’m glad i’m not the only one on this line of thinking.  there are so many amazing things that made SH2 a breakout in so many ways...NONE of them have ever been captured effectively since.  in fact, people often refer to “psychological horror inspired by Silent Hill” but no one seems to even know

If the [white] suspect complies with police commands and doesn’t put up any physical resistance, the cops don’t feel any need to exert force beyond handcuffing him and putting him in a cop car. When you don’t comply with police commands and physically resist arrest, your chances of being killed by cops rises

i regret getting multi-level...twice now the stairs have tried to kill me...they’re always waiting...patiently...quietly...for their moment to strike again...
