On the one hand, Texas makes sense. On the other, I didn’t think it would be that high considering the other ways people die on TX roads because of the amount of rural highways and tollways where high speeds are not just accepted but sometimes legal. And that doesn’t even consider the speeding during heavy urban

Yeah, I get that. It/He/What he represented was one of her major weaknesses. But when I found out she was just fine being the other woman, I was kind of floored.

I remember a time before G/O slideshows. That was when I took the time to go through entire articles instead of bailing after clicking “list slides”.

I saw one recently that looked like this, except it also had the GMC on the grill lit up enough to probably serve as headlights by itself.

the sentient smirk that was Logan Huntzberger

he just isn’t able to land the right “former teenage rebel” note required to believe the backstory.

On Lost, I seem to remember one of the guys (probably Sawyer) actually calling her out at one point for how she’ll get pissed at one guy just to run to the other then vice versa.

I thought for sure “The Constant” from Lost would be on here.

You and Bam are spot on in my mind. S1 was so great, I would put it up there with True Detective S1 for best seasons in recent history.

Your write-up on Miley is missing one crucial fact... her performance, from every “exaggerated move” to her outfit to performing like “a rockstar by way of Vegas”, was clearly a Tina Turner tribute.

I need to watch The Vast of Night and Predestination to complete this list, and probably 2001 again (it’s been about 30 years).

Great piece. I tried to see it with my sons (they bought the tickets three weeks in advance). But thanks to the heat in Dallas and rolling brown out, the power went out about 45 minutes into the movie. Even though it came back after ~10 minutes, a power outage seems to be similar to a crash for a projector. We were

Only if you’re not pumping gas or the place is extremely busy.

This might fall into the filter answer, but I remember when I was a kid hearing someone say that sediment (in the underground storage tank) could cause slow pumps - either recently stirred up when it was refilled or the level getting low.

I saw this one yesterday, where the motorcyclist topped out around 170 in his video. I’m assuming it was from the Garden of the Gods I-25 exit to south Denver, because go from the actual park area to downtown in 20 minutes would mean averaging around 210.

It’s basically a reverse Tron, 40+ years later.

You’re seriously using screenshots from old videos uploaded to Youtube?

Even more shocking, I think they’re supposed to be in high school or just graduated.
