Kids are smarter than most adults give them credit for. They know something special when they see it. Maybe it was the booming tenor of the exhaust, or the sheer size of the beast, or its menacing black-on-black paint job. But when they saw this car, it got their attention.

I've seen this a lot from owners of Oldsmobile 88's too.

2004 Mazdaspeed Miata

This could pretty much apply to the entire BMW lineup now. None of it really makes any sense anymore.

I know it was a subbrand of Mazda, but Eunos has always been too close to "Eunuch" for me. I think Miata is perfect. MX-5 always seemed too nondescript.

It's not something I've ever done before but the worst that could happen if something goes wrong is that it still doesn't work. So I figure it's worth a try.

Bad expansion valve and condenser. Have to change those and the dryer and then see if the compressor is still functional.

Yep. The weather is finally cooling down and drying out, and for the next few months, at minimum, I won't have air conditioning. So it's just more comfortable to leave the top down if it isn't raining.

Jalopnik's own Jason Torchinsky thinks the Tesla Model S chassis could be the new Volkswagen Type 1 for project cars. So naturally Elon Musk listened to Jason, being the smart guy he is, and is unveiling a dune buggy Model S.

Just in time for summer, the new Tesla Model S Droptop! Tesla can't let the BMW 6-Series Convertible have all the fun.

Ditch the Versa, sell this here instead. Hatch only, please.

This is gorgeous!

Buy toward the end of the body-style's (or model year's) life cycle. We got an '07 VW Rabbit at the beginning of '08, loaded with seat heaters and the better stereo, included for free, because they wanted the car off the lot to make way for the '08 models.

Not to mention that with Japanese cars with a large aftermarket, it's also usually much cheaper to add modifications on your own than to buy a special edition.

Maybe I'm just a Lambo fan boy, but I like it. Everyone is doing their typical best at drawing parallels to other cars currently in producton, but none of the comparisons seem bad to me. Also, if a hybrid enables Lamborghini to continue making V12 and V10 engine supercars, I'm in favor of it, be it through combining
