At least it looks good and exciting. I'd be okay if the base model only had 145hp provided the weight was kept down enough. I'd rally the shit out of this.
They have what is called a Sequential gearbox. Every gear change is done "manually" persay, but the clutch is typically only used to launch from a dead stop in 1st. After this, every change is done by pulling the gear lever forward or backward - towards yourself for upshifting, and away from yourself for downshifting.
My firstborn son is being named Sebastian.
I never knew I needed this.
Literally everything they have recorded is good. Buy it all. You won't regret it.
Dude, AAL is the gold standard in progressive djent. I've seen them live twice, unforgettable.
I'd say most things made in the last 6-8 years shouldn't be a risk, so long as it is maintained properly.
I'm trying to find an Outback just like that right now for the EJ251 (I want the 251 because it runs its fuel map off from a MAP sensor rather than MAF - for my own reasons) to drop into my 96 Impreza and slap some SOHC Phase I dual port EJ22 heads on for cheap torques. Cometic made a "hybrid" gasket specifically for…
I still can't stand altezza taillights.
There is no such thing as a DOHC EJ251. The 251 was the start of the "Phase II" motor, and had external leaking issues. The EJ25D, which was DOHC, did also have headgasket issues; this was a "Phase I" motor, and was installed up until model year 1999 in some Legacys.
I would say that yes, they are misinformed. Still, being an owner of a pre-2006 model, this issue is the reason I'm not driving my car right now. So it's a tad bit painful for me.
Your 01 Legacy and 03 Forester are both in danger of having headgasket failure. They both came equipped with the EJ251, which is the single most notorious for failures.
Blown Head Gasket. It's What Makes A Subaru A Subaru.
Ken is a bigger name. The Gymkhana videos are highly awarded and recognized around the world. If you think well produced high action videos made for the purpose of promoting oneself and to gain a following on a platform that everyone can watch instantaneously for free is stupid, well then you don't understand the…
I disagree. There's a big piece I'm writing right now actually that is 100% opposed to that notion.
You were at OTR too? Nice...
They're all so humble too. Seriously, go to an RA event and walk up and say hi. I've attended enough championship events this year (5 to be exact) that Brenton actually walked up and introduced himself to me, simply because he had seen me around a lot.
Holy shit, I need this.
