The Mazdaspeeds are great cars, but they do have chronic issues. I love my 07 MS3 GT but by 95k the VVT was shot and timing chain sounded like death.

To each his own. Many people love the sound of flat 4 with UEL headers, and just because it doesn't tickle your fancy doesn't mean you have to slam them or insult the enthusiasts.
