He’s really going to be mad when he gets deported and has to live out his days in Winnipeg.

Inconsistent construction signage is an ordinary party of driving, if a self-driving car cannot handle those it ought not be on the road.

The driverless cars are immune from getting tickets and are taking off from the cops.

Waymo said in a statement shared with AZ Central the the issues faced by the robotaxi were as a result of “inconsistent construction signage” in the area

Hell yeah, ‘Murica.

Well, since corporations are people, I suppose 2nd Amend “rights” apply to them, too - amirite ?

It was pretty clear from the contributions that the worst place to stop is anywhere in the south, period. Just stay away.

Grifting for the Russians has always been the wildest one to me. Didn’t conservatives spend the last 50 years saying “the Russians are coming to take away our big cars and suburban homes!”, and now they turn around to say their government is great and nice and Putin is the coolest guy ever?

I keep saying, that as ugly as a Reagan or even Bush or bush era republican could be,wthey ould be completely unable to conceive of the modern version, who worship the Russian bear in Putin, cheered and clapped along for Shariah Law, and fully supported a man who said he wanted to circumvent the constitution right out

You want to point to a word that’s been pounded to death and lost all of its original meaning, it’s “conservative”.

BUGATI HAS GONE WOKE NOW!

Story not fake! Is true! I see wive of Zucchini driving car on street this morning of today!

ROFL! How dead at the wheel do you need to be to allow the car to drive itself THAT FAR down the VERY BUMPY train tracks? That is an *impressive* level of stupidity for both Tesla and this driver.

he’s fathered 12 kids, none of which he fathers.

I mean, he’s no Nick Cannon, but he is decidedly... fertile.

I don’t think it is possible to overestimate the necessity of pickup trucks. The number of people who legitimately NEED one of the stupid things is a tiny fraction of the number sold every year.

That was a big reminder when I went to grocery store yesterday. There is no reason for a Suburban’s hood to be towering over my eyeline when I’m in an Atlas. I know they are giant, but it was a staunch reminder when I parked across from one and saw the hood was taller than me in an also big SUV. Anything with a hood

Seriously. For 90% of the things that Americans use trucks for, both personally and for work, a VAN would be a far better vehicle. Which is why VANS are the work vehicle of choice in literally the entire rest of the world. Pickups are only really useful for a very narrow range of tasks.

My most radical car take is that pickup trucks should only be available for commercial usage if they aren’t going to scale back on the size (which they won’t)

I can’t imagine that the relative wieght between a truck and a car matters in the slightest when you are talking 4-6Klbs vs. 200lbs. Either way, you might as well be a bug.
