Preach. I keep telling people, the biggest problem in the United States is voter suppression, and you’ve brilliantly outlined how it works. If everyone got to vote, most of these issues, like healthcare, would get resolved. If we keep allowing Republicans to stifle voters, we’ll never get anything fixed. Healthcare,

Needs pants tho.

Yeah. We’ve got religious “exemptions” from quarantine rules in Florida. Most of the mainstream religions have opted to discontinue services. But the evangelicals, ah, they can’t shut off the money spigot. Gotta bilk those rubes on the weekly or they might figure out the scam. So they’re “trusting in Jesus” and all

Exactly. I’ve got an acquaintance who’s trying to find it for his wife before her remaining 20-day supply runs out. This is an attorney with significant financial resources. If he can’t find any, what’s happening to lupus sufferers who don’t have loads of cash and social connections?

I see what you mean, but the answer is most don’t. It’s basically a suburb of Atlanta. About 45 minutes away in good traffic, if memory serves. So 1 to 1.5 hours on a normal day. Atlanta traffic is always awful. Census says it’s about 5,400 people, 6% of which are black. So a little over 300 people? While metro

Seems fair to me.

I’m stealing Covidefefe. You’ve been warned.

It amazes me that the GOP doesn’t seem to see this at all. I think MAGAs believe it will pass them by because ... reasons.

I’ve been there. There aren’t many people of color. Go a few miles further north, and you won’t find any at all.

Can confirm.

One of them does.

The properties that rhyme with Dump get loans from their landlord, Vlad. What they need is money to make the payments on those loans. You don’t want to piss Vlad off, particularly in an election year, when you need Vlad’s minions to spam the American electorate with propaganda. “Russia, if you’re listening ...” I

That kind of out-of-the-box thinking will get you on The Apprentice, my friend. Yeah, it’s been cancelled but you know Trump will launch it again after he leaves office.

Of course he will. No way is money going to anybody unless Trump gets his cut.

Wait, are you saying Trump can’t play golf at his properties and bill taxpayers millions per game? Well, by all means, open everything back up. If we don’t provide Trump with corporate welfare, why, he might declare bankruptcy again.

So washing your hands was too hard?

It’s like you pulled it right off the TelePrompter.

It’s a good idea, but you also have to make sure there’s no mirror trust setup. Former Gov. now Senator Rick Scott put “his” assets in a blind trust while governor of Florida, but his wife’s assets were in a different trust. Scott’s “blind” trust had instructions to mirror his wife’s trust exactly. So Scott issued

I think you’ret touching upon one of Sanders’ biggest problems: He’s not a Democrat but he wants to be the Democratic nominee for President. It’s like a Methodist running for Pope. You can’t sit there and tell voters that that you’re not one of them, but hey, they should vote for you. It’s not gonna work.

To be fair, Dante’s ninth circle of Hell is a frozen wasteland. It’s where traitors end up. So there’s some literary justification for “cold as Hell.”
