That’s a reasonable assumption. Those are bigly words.

It’s difficult to become an actor if you can’t read. Because scripts.
Please. He never shares the bucket. Never.
I’ll sign off on that, and I’m only about two hundred miles away. Greater good and all that.
Shrubbery. It would take a bunch of potted plants. And even then, I’d probably go 60-40 in favor of the plants.
I’m with you. Every day I wonder what I’m going to wake up to.
I mentioned this at the Root when I first saw this story, but I never knew towns like this existed. Then I met a guy from Michigan who never met a black person until he went to college.
Checks out. Jason and the Argonauts taught me the same thing.
Holy ... okay, I just rethought that.
I didn’t realize communities like this existed until I met a guy from Michigan who told me he never even met a black person until he went to college. To this day I find this absolutely stupefying.
That’s my take. A long time ago someone told me not to worry about it when my co-workers broke rules. Because, he said, if you start looking at other people, people will start looking at you. And unless you’re absolutely certain your behavior is unimpeachable, you really don’t want other people looking at you.
Problem is, for feudalism to work, you have to depend on the concepts of loyalty and fealty. Without that, there’s not much reason for your strongest underling to keep you around once you stop being useful.
I’ll go you one better. I posted this over at Earther:
I said “taken to the extreme.” Extreme socialism is, in fact, communism. In moderation, all of those philosophies have things to offer.
The best part is that the NYT says we got a tax cut, but we just don’t know about it. That’s some Trump-level gaslight rhetoric right there.
Trump only hires the best people, dammit.
I tried something similar, but some students always seemed to take it as a challenge. So I went with “no.” I do tell them that if they feel they simply can’t write about anything else, come see me and explain how their paper will differ from the others I’ve read, and I’ll consider approving the topic on a case-by-case…
You’re right, of course.
Thank you. Too many times libertarians want to do whatever they like, but want other people to follow the rules. And in that extreme, it won’t work. Because what I may like is to take everything you’ve got, and if I’m tougher than you, that’s what will happen.
I’ll point out that you seem to have a misconception about the academic requirements to teach college. To clarify:
