More than a mile. That and the traffic generated by this event probably does cut the drive time down significantly. Seriously, thousands of people go to this over the course of 3 days. That 5 minute drive time on these days turns into 30+ minutes.

It needs to be more difficult. More driver skill determining the winner, not the fastest car. But a spec series as we’ve seen is just boring to many. Refueling would bring back some interest with different strategies like in the v10 era as well.
