I would, but hell I don’t even have oppo authorship. Then again, it would probably tl;dr article, this one was hastily written as the dog was beggin’ to go outside for a poo.

That’s what killed me at that job. Almost no one comes to a dealership garage happy, especially since all the light duty stuff ( oil changes, tires, brakes ) went thru quick lane.
I used to a 4 page print out from fords discussion boards from the craziest stories such as
Well, he didn’t have a hybrid. And the hybrid engine doesn’t come with those bright orange lines :)
Not all fords are bad. But their quality has went downward.
The new escapes have horrid quality problems, especially with the “high tech” stuff such as mytouch / sync. Hvac controls, heated/cooled seats, radio, phone, nav all controled through the APIM, which fails quite commonly. I would not own a ford with a touch screen out of 3 yr 36k bumper to bumper without a ford…
1. co-worker in parts had an escape. Ticking noise, needed an engine after further inspection and submitting claim to ford for replace/repair. Co-worker in parts orders engine, 2.5 I-4. Put engine in, runs like shit. Remove and install another engine, still runs like shit.
Don’t the regulations disallow this? Don’t they all have flat planks underneath
slow news day?
I just remember I stopped watching nascar because in their “attempt” to cut cost, they began to mandate the available rear end ratio’s for each track to limit the RPM because some teams were spinning 10k+ RPM which nascar said was sucking up huge sums of money for development cost that smaller teams couldn’t afford.…
it repulsed both myself, and my wife.
Illuminati?
“but this chart has made us realize that it’s a far different car than the last one. Far different.”
Well, depends. Can you run swiftly? The issue is the thousands of people that camp out in the nearby cow fields all week drinkin bud light whilst trying to catch a slight glimps at some 45 year olds saggy breasticle.
don’t think they have a RPM limit. But they do limit it by mandating the rear end gear ratio’s at each track.
He was right about one thing. Most of mercedes customers have no idea what half the buttons do. But that’s the curse of all new cars with more and more tech.
Bristol, never again. I’m 1 hour away-ish. Went twice. First year it was snowing. Second weather was perfect but the “car of tomorrow” just came out earlier that season and the race was boring as shit. And lets not get started on the ~2 hour walk to and from you car/track.
