Wow... you weren’t kidding. I never listen to pop music, but when I happen to hear some It’s usually a sort of guilty pleasure to indulge in the (mostly) fake talent and faces of pop music...

Oh, that sounds cool. I loved the first one but never got around to buying the second, which is a shame because I have heard only great things about it.

Reading that ‘translated’ version made me even more bummed out. This could have been a truly innovative and mindblowing game. Playing with working through alternate dimensions and time-frames, in real-time would have been a groundbreaking mechanic on the same level as the gravity gun.

I know other games have worked…

That’s not how ep. 2 ended... but yeah, this would have ended the same way as HL1 and HL2 proper.

That makes me truly sad. Sounds like even Valve used to love Valve until Valve started to only love money and forgot about why games could be so special.

What I’ve never known... and been too lazy to really look into is how this game is played on a fundamental level... Is it like Elite:Dangerous where you can actually pilot a ship with a throttle and stick, or is it all command and click based?
If there’s ACTUAL piloting I could see myself having fun with this.

Howard The Duck was my JAM as a kid! I loved the science in it the most, I think. I haven’t seen it in .... a loooong time and I think you have the right idea about keeping it that way.

Still get the closing theme song stuck in my head from time to time....for some reason.

I didn’t buy this game even though I’m a fan of the originals, but I’ve seen so much about it and watched some play-through videos.

It’s moments like this that probably make my neighbors wonder why I’m up at 2am screaming and cheering. Seriously... can’t help it when something as glorious as this happens!

Nahhh, I think a Nova with jump jets and full array of lasers would work best in this situation. :D

I bet if the speedrunners of this game keep competing for best times they’ll have a ton of optimizations. Seems like being able to shoot two targets at once might help some. Just makes things wayyy harder.

Out of ALL the games they could have announced, I literally cannot think of anything more disappointing and upsetting.
