There is definitely some truth to what you say (though there are certainly exceptions to that rule). Perhaps it is just that I think she is generally pretty talentless and doesn't deserve her success that creates my resentment.

I would usually think it was unfair to make fun of a celebrity's looks in this type of situation. So I watch Bo Duke blow away an Alligator with a multi round grenade launcher after a scene where Cloris Leachman had a shrine to Betty White, and then switched to SNL during th ad. That is when that dreadfully dull 'Skins' skit showed. I think I will be watching the ads in SyFy from now on.

'The Creep' wasn't bad but so far I have watched about 10 minutes of Lake Placid 2 and it has been much funnier than SNL. John Schneider, Cloris Leachman, Orlando Jones, that guy from Tracy Ullman I can't remmebr the name of= Awesome!
