Ah, isn't that the coined hipster phrase? "It used to be cool 10 years ago".

Worked for Drew Brees.

Hello San Diego!

Not to downplay the comments, but this username made me laugh.

Bubba Smith wonders "why you so mad?"

I was telling a friend about graduating in 1994 and all the music and culture going on and he goes "I don't know, I was in 5th grade!"

Makes me drool over the 1DX even more. I have a 1D Mark II. I love the heck outta it.

I thought Dallas and El Paso were supposed to be the barriers to keep Californians and Northerners from coming into the state? ;)

Your family came through Texas before "The North" ever existed as a population. Who'd ride trains for days to live in snow, blizzards, ice, and 90 days of sun?

It's probably the second time his family has been through Texas. The first time? On the port before Ellis Island was a means of entry -

There is no such entity as the Texas State Police.

#corrections there is no such department known as "Texas State Police".

There is no such department as Texas State Police.

My biggest problem with this article? There are no "Texas State Police". Those fellas became the Texas Rangers.

I think kids meals are huge for their appetites in many restaurants. I've seen a hamburger, fries, and chocolate milk/soda being offered to a kid that is almost an adult meal. And trashed at the end of the meal.

What I don't understand is the need for kids in certain locations. I was downtown doing photography while Mardi Gras was happening. Lots of people were leaving bars, drink, loud, flashing others, and I saw parents wheeling their kids in strollers at 11pm. Isn't there a timeframe we should be moving the toddlers back

I'm 35, grew up in a big family, went to the store with grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and the lot en mass. I never remember seeing anyone run rampant as there was a family member holding someone's hand. It was working as a pack.

Oh, I'm not demanding you keep them on a leash (which I think is silly as hell to begin with), but I can go to restaurants with kiddos, from fancy places, to fast-food, other people's houses to eat. I know it's trying and it's difficult. But kids are pack animals just like adults. They behave the way they are raised

I didn't say you had to stay home all the time. I have no problem working with parents to keep their kids in control.

It's a poor joke.
