Every car?
I'm in the minority but I don't like the way the Golf looks. VWs of the last 4-5 years are extremely bland. I won't mention some of the drivers of Golfs who are on a par with the typical Civic rice boys.
Looks like the Fusion.
I recently bought a Mazda3 Skyactiv and I have to say the mileage is impressive but it's not just the engine, the drivetrain and transmission have very low losses so the car does not scrub off speed when coasting.
I'd love to see a Mazda 787B and a Sauber C9 on the corkscrew.. Throw in an Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO and I'm set.
If it was a factory clean Integra Type-R I'd go for it. The JDM "eagle eyed" would be a dream come true. Since it's not (and it wouldn't be cheap if it was real) I'll go with the Celica despite being automatic. Cars of this era bring back memories of better, simpler times. Integras, especially cheesy - or should I say…
That's how I expected a Jalopnik Miata review would be.
I started double checking my lug nuts after my first track day. I knew I tightened the lug nuts when I left the track but the next day I noticed some wheel wobble. Thankfully with Miata steering directness you can feel the wobble before it gets worse.
I hate these shops, they have a one size fits all driver and think if they just push hard against the wheel they can get the lug nuts. Observe how many cars that change their oil at the usual chain shops have stripped or round lug nuts.
I would add lug nuts. They are usually checked only when you are forced to remove a wheel. Especially if you have aftermarket wheels with special lug nuts and if you often change your wheels for track days you have to check them often.
Hahaha!
What's up with the "taxi" sign on the roof at 1:05?
That grey color is amazing, and the wheels match too. Looks like a fun little car but it would be most at home in Southern Europe, on twisty roads near the Mediterranean sea.
I was thinking of using the word "balla" assuming it would cover most bases. I am still not sure of its exact meaning though as it changes everyday.
