Why on earth do the Lakers “deserve” him? With their shitty trade package.

You know the Rays are good right now, right?

Aaaaand they lost to the Mets, are no longer in first place or in control.

It’s not an unwritten rule of baseball to bean someone because they’re doing well, it’s just a shit move.

Solo was so dumb and lame.

Right, but that’s because there are a few dominant teams in the AL and a ton of trash teams. On the other hand, there are a couple great and then a ton of good teams in the NL. The league isn’t weak, it’s just not as lopsided compared to the AL.

This is great, but also I feel like Michelle Williams is way more famous than Sam Rockwell.

Arguably worse to be a proud Baylor alum.

A slide to break up a double play is not the same as headhunting in the slightest. The slide achieves a purpose of preventing a doubleplay, headhunting hurts someone for no reason.

That’s not remotely true. Maddon has constantly been on the side of saying tough slides are a part of the game. Remember when he sarcastically suggested head first slides should be banned so a baserunner doesn’t poke an eye out? He is not a fan of the slide safety rules.

This isn’t a real sport! Why are we forced to get updates on this shit.

Makes sense, he’s basically how the Bulls took the first two games against the Celtics last year in the first round of the playoffs. Once he got injured they died.

I can’t even believe he was initially called safe, it clearly looked like he was tagged out.

Why is there a whole article dedicated to this? As the article notes, this isn’t an Astros thing, the Cubs have done it in the past.

They’re not gonna sue him. They put extra money in his contract in case he gets caught doing what they know he has to do to give Arizona good recruits. It almost feels more like hush money.

Beautiful? I’d go with unsettling, extremely unsettling.

And yet the Huffington Post article shows the very clause he was referring to at the bottom of their article. And lets be clear, he doesn’t review contracts, he is told what’s in them by his representation.

Forgot how important to the Cavs Isiah Thomas has historially been, good point.

This is a catch but Steelers last week wasn’t. I guess the butt has possession??
