Yeah, it goes a bit beyond the basic legal rights. A paycheck equal to everyone else with the same job isn't the same as a civil right. Equal pay is definitely part of the Civil Rights umbrella, but it's not like the Constitution sets industry pay grades.

On the other hand, if a man's opinion on what feminism is, or ought to be, can't be a meaningful part of the dialogue, then it's disingenuous to say that men are anything more than seat-fillers and window dressing.
