For sure, and no disagreement there. I was mostly just going for the kindred spirit thing with the egg and a frame. They were a childhood favorite.

As a man who has struggled with learning to cook all my life (I burn, like, everything), the “egg in a frame” has been my litmus test over the years for improvement. The good news is I don’t burn them anymore! But yeah, I could see that being difficult for a first timer with the flipping (good god, the flipping).
Eh, is it funny? Even if you don’t think it’s racist, at best, it’s lazy and hacky.
Which, Leno, so seems right.
But Truman Capote was Armin Zola, that’d just be too confusing.
Thanks, as always, for the thoughtful response Arnheim. Appreciate it.
I cannot conceive of a situation in which I’d be so furious that I’d hit my wife. If it got to the level that I needed to strike something, I’d leave the goddamned house and go to the gym, and beat the shit out of the heavy bag for a bit before immediately seeking counseling for my inability to control my anger before…
“Now we just need some “new stuff.””
Except we get new stuff. Every week. And people decide to just wait for it to come to Amazon, Redbox, Netflix, wherever instead of in theaters. But they flock to superhero films.
I’ve had this happen while dining at a Waffle House in Myrtle Beach, SC. Didn’t even realize at first the guy taking our order didn’t work there, and it wasn’t until later he explained he was helping because the guy behind the counter was alone. This was after midnight though, so it seemed almost normal. Also pretty…
That’s fair, First Class is definitely the more cerebral film, although I know every single person during X-2's theatrical run flipped their shit for Wolverine’s berserker moment.
Ah, nostalgia. Hopefully the MCU does them justice.
I think people look down on First Class retroactively, considering how much they squandered the potential as they kept going (apparently we can only get 2 good X-Men movies with each generation). I’d say X-2 is the best X-Men movie, but the above take is fine.

I was iffy, but after the first trailer I think it may be really good, and Ewan McGregor looks like he’s having a lot of fun as Roman.
How is this game as far as inventory management goes? I hated Fallout IV’s inventory, having to build and maintain bases while foraging around, I felt like I spent more times in the menus trying to decipher what I had and what it could be used for than I did playing the game.
Is this mostly straight-forward (I didn’t…
Wait do we want him to? I know there was some trouble on Hellboy, although it seemed like that production was pretty bad all around. Was there something else I missed, or just not a fan?
The veggie burger actually was one of the better ones around (and one of the very few options for a quick takeout option from a fast food place). Sad to see it go, although admittedly I switched over to the Impossible once BK started offering it.
Still, Morningstar Farms is good stuff.
I heard Jim Spanfeller was dressing up as an herb, but it turns out that’s just how he looks.
Jim Spanfeller is actually an herb, not a primate.
Could still use a face kick, regardless.
Hey, now, you take that back about Stephen King.
Glad to see you still around Arnheim. First Splinter, now Deadspin.
I roam around io9, Kotaku, and AVClub, but losing DS and Splinter hurts hard. This all sucks, and I hate it. :(
If I had to quit Bloodborne because apparently I am awful at Souls-likes, will I pretty much have the same problem with Nioh?
