this story offers yet further proof that an awful lot of Americans[...] are willing to scream “RESPECT OUR TROOPS” when it is politically convenient to do so, but the second those troops do, want, or say something that doesn’t comport with the howling horde’s views/values, that “respect” goes right out the fucking

I’m not saying it would lead to anything, but I just want one journalist/protester/whoever, on camera, to directly question Trump regarding his widely-known-by-this-point quote regarding Epstein and their friendship.

Unless I’ve missed it. But I don’t think I have. I just want to see how Trump responds.

The idea of no health bar and instead of having a star type rating or “good deeds” bar was, if I remember correctly (at least the star rating), the system used in the old Superman iOS game. I used to love that game, and then I got rid of my iPhone, and now it’s not even in the iOS store anymore because of whatever.

It reminds me of the Kevin Smith thing: “I kept waiting for them to be like...we gave our Superman franchise to the Clerks guy?!”

I can’t remember the “saying,” if you will, but I think it’s something along the lines of “moral consumption is unachievable in a capitalist system” or something along those lines.

Like, on the one hand, I go “Threatening to do all the things they hate so they can point and go ‘Look, look, we’re right!’” is maybe not the best tactic.

Then I look at what Tommy Lee’s proposing here and I’m trying to figure out what asshole would oppose any of it?

I’m assuming the numbers aren’t rankings, because Lights Out at #3 would be very wrong, but it’s still wrong for being 1) not very scary and 2) having an ending that suggests suicide is a reasonable solution to problems.

And why, would they think, that the simple act of tweeting out public donors names would have negative consequences? Could it be the environment of retaliatory violence and harassment that they have riled up and often put to use themselves, starting at LEAST as far back as the formation of the Tea Party, that now they

Throw in a giant grizzly and you’ve basically got The Edge.

“A well-regulated militia”

“I am all for capitalism and the marketplace of ideas as long as the ideas are my own and only my own! Get these successful craft breweries and their successful IPAs out of here! It’s not what I want!”

Haha, I’m the same way. My 13 year old is the only other one I know that uses it, so it’s basically just a system for us to already know how the other felt about a particular movie. Although, among my friends, I see the most movies so if a friend asks about a movie I can just link them to one of my reviews on there

Pretty certain the first half covers that....

As I said over on...wait, the AVClub, really?...

I don’t understand the purpose of this, yet I am glad it exists.

It’s kind of like Goodreads, but for movies (or TV). You can select a movie, rate it, write a review, read other peoples reviews, make your own lists (“My Best of 2019,” “Best Rom-Coms 2019,” whatever) and so on and so forth.

So, it’s not QUITE social media, as like a WhatsApp or Twitter or Faecbook, but it

I’ll say this much: Her health advice is bad or false at worst, and she has no actual policies (outside of the randomly thought-out reparations policy). I’m not voting for her, and I hope no one else does.

HOWEVER

What cannot be understated is the value in having a presidential candidate on a national stage discussing

Remember when ISIS was recruiting via Facebook and Twitter? You don’t see much of that these days, do you?

It’s not that it’s hard for websites or social media to police this, because they’ve already shown us THEY CAN DO IT. What’s hard is getting them to want to, because then you have to convince them to disagree

Curious to see how the white man with the white supremacy manifesto killing people is used to make Ilhan Omar look racist.
