I’m all in on this and not worried about the price. This is a rarish E46 and will be worth more than the asking price next year. People that know older BMWs will look at this and then look back again. It’s had a lot of recent work and most of it was the right work. I thought I was the only guy that replaced all those

If this was a vintage 7 series or 450sel in that condition I might even pay more. ND on the Caddy though.

I guess I’m like many of you this morning. If you are going to drop $19,000 why not go all the way and find an S? Probably more money, but for sure more car. ND

Beautiful looking car, but I really know nothing about them. So I’ll stick with German. ND

How about Scott Pruett? https://www.pruettvineyard.com/

This is a really small car without a trunk. I don’t pick up on the pride of ownership vibes I like to see when buying a used car. For me it’s ND

I know the engine was great for it’s time. I just don’t see me driving a red Vette. ND

I really don’t know much about these cars, but what I recall is these are not great cars. ND

Seems way overpriced to me and the frame probably looks like Swiss cheese. ND

I like this. If it was in NorCal rather than L.A. I would go drive it. It wouldn’t be the first time I bought a cabrio just for the summer. I’ve wrenched on this vintage before and know what I’m getting into. This is a great engine and has many more miles left in it. ND

I really do like this car, but at that price I’d just order a new one built to our specs. I really do want an electric car and within the next couple of years I’m sure I will have one. It will not be a Tesla. Fuck Elon Muskrat. Probably it will be German.

Rob, this is the best you can do to start the week off? Way overpriced for what it is. ND

I’m sure this is very fun to drive. But, it needs work and I bet that won’t be fun at all. Plus, it’s a stinking Dodge. ND

I do hope this project gets finished and I honestly think it will. I have ridden HSR in other countries and it is pretty cool. I understand most if not all HSR projects went way, way over the beginning budget. There should be no surprises here. When we voted for this I was excited and planned to ride it within the

To me this is a toss up, but I did vote for ND.  If you have worked on Alfas a bit you know what you are getting yourself into. An in person inspection on a lift is a must. It’s in Seattle and it is really wet up there, but at least they don’t salt their roads. If it’s not a rust bucket the right guy might make a good

Looks kind of cool, but still a Pinto. ND

This is at best on a good day a $2,000 car. Some E28s were great cars like the 1988s. No to auto trans. No to higher than shown mileage, No to doggy M30B34 engine. No to stupid stereo. ND

Rob, are you serious? Cars don’t more boring than this one. ND

Undiminished stars over San Francisco?? I can see you have never been there at night.

No thanks. I’ve been driving 4X4s since the mid 1960s and all original isn’t always a good sign. I have seen this Toyota as I live close by and wondered why take something that is borderline top heavy already and make it more so? I would never want one of those things on the roof of my truck. ND
