I live around Sacramento where this truck is offered for sale. This is a tough call as the little truck is restorable and you would have something you don’t see everyday. It shouldn’t be hard to find a replacement engine at a Pick n Pull yard. Plus, there is the fun factor of it being a 4X4. When I lived in San Diego

No.

Super boring old sled  priced at twice what it is worth. ND

At $2,500 I don’t see how you can go wrong? At some point it will need repairs that will be a PITA. Drive it until the new Michelin tires are bald and pass it on. NP

You have a good point about the transfer cases. They were bulletproof only if they were maintained which we did when racing J10s in the desert.

I’m a Jeep guy and have owned many. This is over-priced for what it is. I’m in Northern California so the lack of a smog cert is a problem. I’m sure it has already failed at least once and is in the state computer as failed.

This isn’t the mighty 401. It’s the standard gutless 360 used in taxicabs.

I’m sure it has already failed it’s smog test.

This is a big ND for me even at that fair price. It will take a lot of work and money to restore it properly. When you are done for all that time and money you have an old Japanese car. I don’t want any Japanese cars.

Saabs have always sucked. This one really sucks even if it is cheap. What’s wrong with you folks?

I just don’t think this car, with way too many miles on it, is worth close to the asking price. ND

Used car prices are crazy in Northern California, but there is a Maserati for only $500! What a find! https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/alameda-1984-maserati-biturbo-not/7493186520.html

This car is in Las Vegas and these old shit boxes were undrivable in summer desert heat from overheating. Tags are 4 years expired. There is much more to this story than the seller is saying, but that is always the case. I’ll pass. ND

This looks like a perfect California daily driver. Plus this replica will run circles around the original. NP

If you can spend up to $80,000 you can probably go just a little more. Porsche Cross Turismo 4S.

Commandos are pretty rare and someone will pay $2,500 or close to for this Jeep. Restore or parts car, doesn’t matter. NP

It looks like the ticket to have fun today costs $5,000. NP

I replaced my silver R75/5 with a black R90/6 that I never should have sold.

This is one butt ugly car. I have never liked them and this one is way over-priced. Pep Boys mods aren’t for me and to top it of it’s in bum fuck Idaho. I wouldn’t go there to get it if the car was free.

I don’t care if it has 104 camshafts this is still a poorly built General Motors FWD shitbox. ND
