Everyone welcome Tony Romo to Deadspin!

The real story is how much Mallory Edens (Bucks owner’s daughter, seated next to Rodgers) ages between the first and last videos.

He was back home in Toronto, watching the game with thousands of Raptors fans in an outdoor square.

One of my favorite sports coincidences:

They’d have been much more memorable wearing these:

I was lamenting this with a buddy yesterday. If they didn’t have a brutal 4th Q in game 1, this would be a 3-1 series right now. They only scored 17 points in the 4th that game, and only Lowry hit a shot in the 4th Q.  This seems to be a series of both teams showing how good they are, and how bad they can be.

+1 gif of Giannis being lowered into a pen, then the harness being raised torn to shreds

The Raptors went dead cold in the fourth quarter of Game 1. They missed their last 8 shots and didn’t score on their last 7 possessions. They lost 108-100. Other than that quarter and Game 2, they’ve lead pretty much the entire series.

That’s right, but they never attack the same way twice. They were testing the Bucks for weaknesses, systematically.

It’s extremely on-brand for billy to show up with 45,000 words trying to convince us that there’s something unique or special about a club with a bottomless bank account.

But the two issues are separate. The problem isn’t that City have money and that they have spent it widely and well; the problem is where City’s money comes from. Mixing the two trivializes the former and prevents an honest reckoning with what City’s ascendence really stands for.

Huh? The Bucks were lucky in Game 1 when everyone but Kyle Lowry (including Kawhi) went cold in the fourth quarter. The Bucks were dominated this entire game by the Raptors, who could have won in regulation had Pascal Siakam hit at least one of his two free throws to ice the game. It took double OT because the Raptors

Get well Drew.

I work with children with disabilities. For the past 3 months, I have been working with a 7-year-old who had a stroke. He is back to walking recently. Last week, I walked into his 2nd-grade classroom to get him. He was sitting with a group of kids on the floor doing some lesson. He saw me and immediately got up on his

God this is so eerily similar to what happened to me, same injury, generally same set of circumstances (had been drinking but not overly so), same general consequence. Thank you for sharing this experience. It brings me back to that scary time but it’s also oddly cathartic for someone to go through something so

WIFE: Do you want the windows open?
ME: Nah, I’m fine.
WIFE: Okay I’ll open the windows a little.

Can’t tell you how many text messages I exchanged with friends seriously worrying about the health of a person I have never met and will likely never meet.

Jesus, man. This is harrowing. Like everyone else in the comments, I’m glad things didn’t go differently.

I think there’s a fair argument to be made that teams that are crummy without the help of prior #1 picks are probably a little more deserving than teams who are crummy despite prior #1 picks. I also don’t know that I’d describe every team other than Golden State as inept.

Pelicans fan here. Everyone can kiss my ass he’s our hostage.
