My goal in a discussion is to have the discussion, not to “sway” anyone. I posted a link to Keira Bell’s case because it’s pertinent to the discussion.

Parents rightfully wield enormous power and influence over their children. Their responsibility is also necessarily great. The Keira Bell case shows that the UK government expects more lawsuits like hers.

I mean, “consent” is a legal creation not a medical thing. That’s why the judiciary is involved--because a former child sued.
