Well, we are talking about Drax, a role that would involve a ton of green makeup and prosthetics. Whoever plays him would be unrecognizable to the audience. Now if it was Starlord, Momoa would indeed be a fool to pass up... but Drax? nah.

Lol, well played.

Gawd, that scene with Cavill and Amy... THAT'S SUPERMAN!!! Beautiful just frigging beautiful. Loving the new soundtrack too. June 13 can't come quick enough.

I find this current texting craze to be weird as hell (and also belated).

Jason Momoa turned it down, although I don't blame him. It was a lowball salary for an unknown character that would have him virtually unrecognizable.... not exactly a career building role.

Wow, did not see that coming. Thought the movie was based solely on DnA's 2008 run. This opens up chances of older GOTG team members showing up (hello, Vance Astro), AWESOME!!! I'm guessing he's a mentor who dies off/retires/replaced by one of the new guys, probably Groot or Rocket Racoon.

Yeah, I like Miles too, it might be a possibility seeing as Webb has plans for a sinister 6 teamup at the end of the trilogy/quadrilogy. That would be an awesome ballsy move on Sony's part if it happened.

Lol, right back at ya. First of all, Sony makes Spider-man movies not Marvel, Spider-man movies do not exist as a part of MCU. I am critiquing TASM not MCU, so your comparison is invalid,

Exactly!!! Bravo. MCU does it beautifully.

Not really, TASM being the lowest grossing Spider-man movie and just slightly above Spider-man 3's critical rating shows there's a disconnect somewhere. It's more about two similar but different aesthetics being fused in a half assed manner than "omg, nerds outrage over source material". Eh, whatever :)

I'm referring to the overall production not Jamie's Electro.

Not to shabby, Ultimate Electro is electric blue... pretty sure he would look awesome post special effects and in 3D too. Anyway, all these changes are indicative of Webb's half ass attempt to fuse both Ultimate & 616 interpretations of Spidey (to the detriment of both sides), which is bloody infuriating.

Nah, Goyer's only off by two years. Superman II (which was meh-tolerable) was the last Reeve movie AND THAT'S THE WAY IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN.

Nice spot but I feel it would have been way better off/well recieved as a viral ad. Casual fans would have no idea this is for Man of Steel. That and the fact it reminds me of Batman Beyond's intro, lol.

Bahahahahahahahahahahaha. "He fights for family and love". Now that's how you troll Batman fans, Nolan fans and unsuspecting family members in one swoop.

Nah, Don Cheadle's Rhodey wasn't that great of a transition. He might be a much better actor than Howard but his Rhodey felt more like a military acquaintance you shoot pool with over the weekend. Howard's was the warm been-friends-since-childhood military buddy more in line with the comicbook source.

Oh, I have no problem with those changes. That's quite innovative in my opinion. As long as he ain't Abram's "special child" (in which Supes is a nebbish neurotic/destined kryptonian messiah whose birth triggers a civil war ), then I'm a happy camper.

Oh gawd, please let it not be the same "special" child bullshit JJ Abrams worked into his revolting superman:Flyby script, featuring a prince Kal-el and seppuku Jor-el.

Oh gawd, to click or not to click. 20 days to go, must resist temptation to spoil self. *clicks play* FRAAAAACK!!!

Sorry, but all I get is a ton of Prometheus-ey vibes. I hope I'm proven wrong
