Too bad this didn't run yesterday: GhostBird (the developer) had it on sale for 99 cents as a way to offer a cheap upgrade for people who bought the first version. That said, it's going up from $2.99 to $4.99 at the end of May, so it's still something of a bargain!

That was pretty much my one and only reason for switching to Tumblr: a better mobile experience for both content creation and consumption. It's kind of mind-boggling how far behind Google is in that area.

DarwinPalm.

The most interesting part of all this is that Daredevil is his tailor.

All I know is that we are now guaranteed at least one more Bond movie.

Good God, what will Oprah do?!?

One point that isn't totally clear in the article is that people need to already be on 4.3.3 before trying to jb it with redsn0w. I've run across many who get confused and think they can use redsn0w to update and jailbreak at once a la Pwnage Tool.

NOW we're getting somewhere.

I haven't seen one in person yet—does the lens really bulge out? I'd think it would get easily scratched that way, no?

"so they [could] conduct practice runs last month."

But isn't Photosynth's thing that it makes a kind of 3D panorama? I love Autostitch (and for straight panoramas I still prefer it), but my few run-throughs with Photosynth definitely had a different feel—mostly a much more noticeable feeling of depth, like you were walking around in the image.

I was totally going to get this, but couldn't decide on something else to get me to Super Saver Shipping. Next time!

Thanks for the follow-up; glad you got it working!

Ah, of course. I wasn't thinking people were getting new phones with this.

Wait, why is it 20 dollars more WITH a contract?

I don't believe 5.15.04 is unlockable at present...you may be able to use the iPad baseband hack but will likely encounter problems with your GPS and (more important) will not be able to downgrade your baseband or use a stock Apple ipsw for future restores. Definitely a last-ditch thing; I don't recommend it. That

Two different things. JB depends on the firmware, unlock on the baseband—they don't necessarily move together. See this chart for answers and guides.

I can't wait to see what turns up that deep (and hope they bring some great cameras). I still remember growing up on the ocean and waterskiing; bobbing in the water with skis up, waiting for the boat to start, surrounded by cold, dark ocean and just knowing there was a whole other world beneath me was enough to send

Mine is always on, but with alerts off, so it only joins networks I've used before. (So it's not trying to join every Panera I drive past.)

iOS too.
