It's going to be weird to see an iPhone line and not be part of it. Will I miss it? Probably a little bit, now that I think of it.

@Dominic Arenas: Yeah, I guess that's probably the best option. I've just never been a fan of how they actually look, so I don't really use them.

I know this is probably asking too much, but I wish Google could just make ONE app that included options to run any of their other apps—at this point we've got Google Earth, Google Mobile, Google Voice, Google Shopper, Google Places, Google Books, Google Latitude, Google Authenticator, and Panoramio.

Anyone else misread that opening line?

@wanderingrabbi: Just so I'm clear, whenever you want to copy something to Pastebot, you have to leave whatever app you're in, tap the Pb icon, then go back to what you were doing?

I use iPhoneBrowser myself on XP—great for loading up custom SMS tones, new themes, etc. I even used it to install the updated Cydia app itself when it was only available to newer jailbreaks.

Did Pastebot ever get approval for running in the background? (I remember they were trying to use a silent audio track that would enable backgrounding in iOS.)

@justinpe: See above; I had a bit of comment fail.

Netflix is on there; it's the first thing listed under Entertainment.

@Pringles!: Thanks...guess I can wait. I'm finally at a place where my jailbreak/iOS version/tweaks/themes are all in balance, and I don't want to screw anything up.

Wow, that looks really, really nice. I have no real desire for a W7 phone, but the UI has definite appeal.

@WickedD365: From the article: "For some reason, when I first saw the Plug Hub, it reminded me of a piano (with the power surge being the keys)."

No, I absolutely DO NOT feel lucky.

Sure, it looks good—until you spend every morning picking up all those tiny pint glasses and ashtrays.

That was pretty hilarious. It's also kind of crazy when they talk about people using it to stay in contact after the quake, when phone lines were down. Fast forward to yesterday, when Lifehacker posted an article about using old-school landlines to stay in touch when the Egyptian government took the Internet down.

I wish the illustration didn't have that 90 degree turn between the two examples...for a product geared toward an older crowd, it gets a bit confusing.

@WestwoodDenizen: Maybe I should clarify...I'm all for more news sources being made available, but some—like Al Jazeera—are much scarcer here in the US to begin with, and I honestly believe that the ability to have them in the palm of your hand really does change how people think of them.
