Police serve a vital function to society and their presence is needed. I think virtually everyone with any measure of sense can admit that at some level. However, one bad apple really does spoil the bunch. Until police officers and their unions are willing and able to act in the best interests of the society they are…
This is what police officers readily do, putting their lives on the line to save others. Pity that a tiny fraction of bad cops on a power trip ruin it for the rest
I have zero interest in a Mustang that sounds like a golf cart, never mind the atrocities done to the interior. <facepalm>
Replacing the gas-powered running gear of old cars is not new and is something I’d gladly advocate for if it encourages more classics out onto the road
Hard agree here! I wish it had some reworked old dials in there, that would be sweet
If you are going to give it a retro body why put on those dumb wheels? It looks like one of those resto-mod nightmares by Chip Foose.
I’m sure a lot of work went into this… but considering you can get an officially licensed fastback body from Dynacorn for $17,500, I’m not sure how I feel about the price tag…
I’m really torn about those electrified old cars. I mean, yeah, they look good, and that’s kind of the whole point, but do I really want a classic Mustang without v8?
He punched a 77-year-old man, the man fell down, hit his head, and died as a result. This is textbook manslaughter per Florida statutes: regardless of whether there was a specific intent to kill, it is reasonably foreseeable that punching an old man in face could lead to their death; the fact that the kid was almost…
Other brands are available
He punched a 77 year-old, who then died. I’d say two years’ house arrest is more than fair. “He was old and might have died anyway” isn’t much of a defense.
I appreciate it thank you. And thanks for reading!
Hey Lawrence, I haven’t read your article yet, but I just wanted to say that I’m very happy to see you all back at the desk. This is the first Jalopnik article that I open. Congrats to you and your colleagues for making it through in rough times.
if you want a nice interior with buttons that are actually designed into the car i highly suggest the prior gen GTI
Never said I represented the masses. In fact, I believe by saying “for me anyway” I pretty much already indicated that I know I am in the minority.
And I don’t give a shit what the masses want.
It’s almost better cause you get more physical buttons.
The problem, for me anyway, is that many of those options that have become standard are features I not only don’t care about but actively do not want in the vehicle at all. Like EyeSight.
I feel like a lot of things that used to be options are just standard now, and there wouldn’t really be savings for Subaru or the customers for decontenting them. Especially things that are now just part of the infotainment package.
Jesus Christ that plastic black cladding! The spirits of Pontiacs of yore are still hanging around.
