This might be the actual answser honestly. No company would volunteer to be under some crap regulation to do this, but if a supplier that didn’t make cars just made a powertrain ICE for the company, it might draw a few in.

And therein lies a challenge - to maintain your branding for some period while using one common industry standard product for propulsion.
I wouldn’t want to live in an environment with generic engines.
Did the money go to Democrats too? The terrorist attacks of January 6th were real and are still one or our darkest chapters. Further, I’m now reconsidering a Ford purchase because of this.
What’s really fun is seeing in all caps “NOT A CUSTOMER OF OURS.” as a response to trolling reviews. I was thinking, ahh this is the junior employee stuck pasting a response in. What a crap job, and I feel bad.
Right!?!?!?? I knocked out laugh and love just by skimming this article. Now all I gotta do is eat sleep and pray.
Yeah I’m like 2 for 3 on that front. Very wise move and it paid off with a sweet lift access.
Your GF has a lift? That’s epic!
You’re all my heroes. I played it at a store as a demo once, but I do not have a VB sadly. I do collect many retro systems though.
Are you in the USA? I am curious if we got any of the fancy adaptive headlights here.
I want one of those things. I kinda think they’re a lesser known gem. How’d you like yours?
I so want to like the modern Challenger but the vertical height of the machine has always irked me. I get that they are wrapping a 1960s design on a 2010 vehicle, but there is just too much of the B(C?) pillar in the new car. It is so tall and doesn’t look as gorgeous and curvy as the classic.
2 inches less, no ridiculous fender flares and that sweet sweet brown paint. Lambo doors is a push for me; could take or leave.
I’m going to need ride height and paint samples but I’m starting to be interested myself.
Hey! Thanks for a little insight. I appreciate that. Maybe I’ll let go of the grudge and start again with the local dealer. I really like the car.
The comments are eviscerating this, but I’m starting to rethink my Ford Bronco daily driver choice. I could definitely drive this to work during the week and autocross during the weekend.
This comment section (including you) are out in strong force supporting the last gen. Me personally; I am thankful this thing looks like that 1990s Honda appliance. I want subtle sportiness and my previous choice (the MK7 platform) recently got a bad case of Corollavirus this gen (the MK8).
That pink metallic is somewhat of a hero color for the car to me. I get that it isn’t everyone’s taste but it is really quite enjoyable and honestly, somewhat iconic.
Give all the details on the suspension. As much as I crap on all crossover-ified wagons (including my alltrack and your buick)... I do find the air lift and lower an interesting option.
Maybe there are only a few of us out there, but I’d personally pay more for a “final edition” of games such as GTS/GT7. Give me all the patches, put the offline save function in, throw in some core DLC that doesn’t cause a licensing issue, and charge me 1.5x the retail price. I’d definitely pay for iconic games like…
