I’m starting to think that Donald Trump and Marianne Williamson are two celestial beings, one dark and the other light, and reality as we know it is simply the field upon which they clash.

Marianne Williamson’s closing statement last night.

The best part is that you don’t have to go to the polls to vote for here. You can just send your familiar and a sprig of sage.

Well I guess in this one instance I’m OK with police brutality

Hey, you remembered he was running this time. That’s an improvement.

Count me in the group of people who think this is all pretense for another run at the senate. With him opening by speaking (grammatically incorrect) spanish, and his empty answers, he’s got to be thinking that he’ll save his policies for a senate campaign.

Personally I am glad that people are realizing that someone who says nice things and seems very likable isn’t qualified for president for saying nice things and seeming very likable.

He’s a profoundly unserious human being.

Because all most people had seen of him prior to that were glowing pieces about his Texas strategy (a good one) and carefully cultivated bullshit puffery. He looked like what he is, under-cooked and not quite ready for national consumption. He’s going to take this L, go on a walkabout or some shit and pop up again in

I mean this guy did a facebook live thing for a haircut. Oh well. He was big here in Texas for Senate and got my vote, but he’s not a national candidate.

  • Klobuchar will try and be folksy, but lapse into angry “

So, can I assume that you are extremely online to know all of these candidates and their individual predilections?

So instead you have half the candidates in chairs that are too big for them, and half in chairs too small.

Yeah I can see most of that happening. I’m not sure Delaney will get booed because I think he will struggle to make an impression. I think Beto will be bland to a lot of us, but people will magically be all starry eyed about him and every time he clears his throat the audience will erupt with applause.

The Warren question is a big one. She could legitimately go either way, and being on stage with a bunch of people that the entire audience considers also-rans could really damage her campaign if she came off flat or in any way unready for the stage. That is, if these debates were going to matter in the slightest,

Worst. Three-way. Ever.

As far as I can tell re: the think tanks, they’re backing her because they’re beginning to wonder of Biden will win and they’re horribly allergic to Sanders. She’s their ‘anyone but Sanders’ candidate. I wanted her to run in the tRump election and support her now - she’s moved consistently leftward as she’s honed her

Katz’s people were working the subways the past couple of days and every time they tried to hand me a flyer I told them I was voting for Caban. They looked so shocked and offended each time, like I told them to go eat dog poop or something.

I can no longer vote in Queens as I now vote in Brooklyn, but I got my sister, mom, and stepdad to go out and vote for Caban. We’ve already made strides in BK and the Bronx with new DAs (Brooklyn DA office just helped a bunch of folks serving time for marijuana offenses get out early) and Queens needed to catch up.
