I will take every opportunity I have to say that JJ Abrams is a hack who has only ever reframed other people’s ideas (and not even in interesting ways). This cannot be repeated enough. The devotion that the current sci-fi landscape has to him is baffling. I cannot think of anyone who deserves to helm both Star Wars…
