sorkin and ryan murphy become more and more alike with each project, if they are not already the same. prove me wrong.

This review makes zero mention of the performance of the film’s star, no? How is the new hero? How is the actor playing him? Unless the lack of a mention speaks for itself?

triggering, weird, poorly written, gross. yes. they couldnt get through it. i guess that means the idea was up for grabs! the least this article could have done is mention that MFM had this idea.

came here to say this.

Someone should start compiling ‘family as performance fails’ for an informal study/glimpse into the patterns this shit follows...

The struggle for gay, lesbian, and trans rights and protections is not limited to Stonewall, gay marriage, and military service. Activism, protest, demonstration and, yes, bashing back, have played roles equal to, if not greater than, legislation in the last 100 years of queer civil rights. People suffered and died

did no one notice the three or four face masks on background characters? did HBO add those? was it a reference to the euro-nuke that unintentionally turned into a connection to today’s virus?

i loved these images until it got to the jake and marco panel - either they are really playing up their youth by making the drawings cutesy button-nose or this is very tonally off. more than anything, it looks very...basic...uncomplicated. like it is being marketed to third graders (maybe it is?). but, im not familiar

a suspect claim, as he has said in interviews he and applegate regret not including an explicitly queer character in the books. scrolling through his twitter now though...

This is a little late coming (and pointless?) as Weiss said it literally five minutes after they aired the episode, in the follow-up “inside the episode” thing that starts to roll as soon as the episode’s credits end, aaaand people have been making fun of it since then, as well. curious how disney will handle the use of his claws. is the act of thrusting 12 inch blades through a ribcage disney-friendly? not really. what use will they be? even without the appearance of *blood* they are pretty brutal weapons.

LOL at everyone like “why author no say wife?!!” Language is complicated and loaded. I’m so down with conveying the more important information that they were together for thirty years than the flattening term “his wife”. Kill all hetero-centric language & be free of its constraints yeeeeaah::))))

Bryan Singer - the movie’s original director who was ousted from the production halfway through for his inability show up to actually direct, which is the subject of the article - is openly gay ...

Hi - gay person here - I’m here to point out that proper/accurate gay/queer representation goes much further than simply portraying a character as being attracted to the same sex (or both sexes, as it were). That is only step one. And the problem queer people have with the film’s portrayal is not that Freddie was “not

Forgive me, but...did Hart, at any point, say:
