We’re all thinking the same thing.
It’s not that we needed to know what she looked like, it’s that we see the type of man that Pop is and think “she must have been one amazing woman to have cared for that man so well”.

She has been sick for some time, and I believe the Spurs had tried to keep that out of the news as best they could, but it was somewhat of an open secret around the Spurs camp

Yup, this. I love Pop (but not his team) but couldn’t legally testify in court that he was even married, and this hit me harder than it had any right to.

Because we all know that it would take someone incredible to be the life partner of Pop. Obviously, when great people die, it’s a tragedy.

How gracious of you.

Right now? Probably Top 7 or so. The rest of his game still isn’t quite there yet.

That’s a clown tweet, bro.

Despicable? How can you say that? New York has thrived under Cuomo. I’m all for electing more women into politics but let’s not be ridiculous. Cuomo has done a great job and his family is a mainstay in New York politics. Let’s chill out a little.

This is fine. I’m not here for overrating Kaep. He can be a starter in a league that had Scott Tolzien, Cody Kessler, Josh McCown, Tom Savage, Drew Stanton and Blaine Gabbert start games last year. And he is better IMO than probably every backup in the NFL, but is he the most valuable player in free agency? No.

The only team that can sign Colin Kaepernick is your New England Patriots.

If Bobby K wants to protest injustice in the United States by visiting Meek Mill in prison, then he can certainly give Kaep a job.

BB should bring him in and just talk football to the kid.
Let the guy sit, kneel or stand.
Brady won’t last forever.

That’s what bums me out. He’s hilarious in just about every role I’ve ever seen him in, and I enjoy him on interviews/podcasts. I just wish he’d figure it out on the personal side of things.

I think that’s him admitting he knew it makes people sleepy when he gave it to her.

It’s almost like you’re suggesting that this was a completely baseless overreaction, and that terrorists aren’t renowned for their ironic sense of humor. I know whenever I see someone make an ironic joke, the next logical assumption is that they have a bomb, and...

I’m pretty sure this is exactly how it happened. I’ve seen it happen, just like this, twice in my life (once before 9/11 and once afterwards), and both times, security overreached in a ridiculous fashion.

Agreed. A guy dumb enough to make that joke is not smart enough to get explosives through security.

You have to remember that the TSA is all about security theater. The TSA exists to convince everyone that they have travel security in hand. Every now and then you have to make an example of someone who makes a joke or tries to get a Coke on the jet. This guy was an example.

Counterpoint: the most batshit part of Paterno is that HBO was willing to spend an obscene amount of money making a movie that tries to vindicate the legacy of a man whose own exculpatory account had been shown to be completely false long before the release of the film.

Overreacting like this is literally all they are capable of doing to prove how ‘serious’ they are. Partly because everyone shrugs their collective shoulders and accepts that we shouldn’t be allowed to utter the word bomb at an airport instead of greeting the prosecution with outrage. And partly because, as was

You’ve really gotta wonder about the moral capabilities of a person who honestly thinks a human can’t feel pity for two people at the same time.
