Poor Tomi.
Poor Tomi.
It’s weird because when he’s not playing basketball and being the Lord of Competitive Lunacy, he’s a really nice family guy who tips incredibly well, according to all of my friends back in OKC. Anyway, can’t wait for this shit to come back up in the All Star Game.
Hehe “was”
Am I wrong to be concerned that Embiid may have just the tiniest bit of Dwight Howard in him?
Thank god we have a fine, upstanding institution like Penn State to provide us with some great sports moments in the face of all this unpleasantness with MSU.
I want to photoshop sharks on there and send it to the white house.
That’s a much more effective way to end sexual harassment than not raping, molesting, groping, and otherwise pressuring female artists into sex.
So much this. But in our criminal “justice” system, people with authority very seldom have to answer for their disregard for others. But this case has got to be where this ends. And losing a job is not the appropriate punishment. Jail time needs to be given.
I actually think USAGA first, then MSU.
THIS. They need to thoroughly investigate each and every goddamn individual that was told of this abuse and did not escalate the situation.
And, tbh, that’s sort of what it’s come to. That we have someone in a judicial position—a political position heavily prone to corruption and butt hurt egos and passing the buck—calling a spade a spade especially as it pertains to sex abuse. Who else is doing that? I can’t think of anyone. Victims carry the burden of…
I made a typo—I meant to say not underscoring or not ignoring, but I can’t edit it until someone stars it.
You are not the only one! That judge is propped by ultimate power (the title, the court officers, the requirement of decorum in thecourt, an f-ing verdict, media sentiment, crowd sentiment, shall I go on?) What did it cost her to shit on that monster? Nothing. From rape until now, it cost those girls EVERYTHING! Why…
Everyone that knew has to be held accountable. They have to be held accountable like they did at Penn State to send the message that this will not be tolerated for our girls just as it will not be tolerated for our boys.
Act tough for a couple years then quietly rescind everything?
My only quibble with your statement is that you left out USAG.
We should let all our current gymnasts compete under their own flag under a new organization.
Aided, abetted, assisted, incited, encouraged, supported, vouched for, silenced for, covered for...all of it.
There needs to be mass protests at MSU until Simon and most of the board resign. These people are coddled executive class folks, they are used to being mostly anonymous and occasionally celebrated. They won’t stand up to being permanent public pariahs, they’ll run.
That struck me as really odd too. Like she’s bragging about doing her job where she literally has all the power all the time.
