This is the twitter equivalent of going for a foul ball that at least three other people are going for.

That tweet isn’t real. It was actually planted by the Obama Administration so they have greater justification to impeach the Governor and thereafter install Eric Holder to run the state by imperial fiat.

Yeah, but...don’t be a dick.

Yeah, Simmons really, REALLY improved as a podcaster.

“Sure, our coach imbibes a little excessively every now and then, but don’t we all?”

Strong take. Did you spot it, or did it lift solo?

This .gif always deserves 100 stars, regardless of its context.

I wish I didn’t like this comment so much. +1

That’s the best imitation of an Imgur commenter I’ve seen since I last browsed Imgur. Which was like 2 minutes ago.

“She is fantastic! I’d love to see more of her, if you know what I mean… “

“This is a definitely bright and probably complicated man who has decided that what he’ll wear on his sleeve is not emotions stemming from his allegedly heinous off-field act but rather, his sack totals … and his God, even at the risk of being accused of using faith as a shield. He’s also decided that as he rebuilds

So?

Yes, exactly, exactly, exaclty. Perfectly said. I’m off to google DearCoquette. Thank you for sharing.

I don’t know if you read DearCoquette, née Coketalk, but I’ve always thought what she had to say on the matter was pretty smart:

When I was younger I was in favor of the death penalty, but over the years have come to oppose it. At first it was for political reasons, and I find now that it’s for moral ones. It’s wrong. A civilized country doesn't do this.

No one deserves to die, even scumbags. The death penalty costs us so much money and isn’t an effective deterrent. Guilty or no, the death penalty is still a tragedy.

This is why we have to have a Democratic president. The death penalty is barbaric and we have to get rid of it once and for all.

Yeah, I’m against the death penalty in all circumstances but if it’s going to be used, it’s a little easier to swallow when it’s a super villain level serial killer rather than someone who didn’t actually physically murder someone.

Not really. He plead out first. If she had flipped on him it might be the other way. The argument could be made that the murder would have never taken place if she didn’t orchestrate it. It sounds like something out of a L&O episode. Also let’s not forget why the crime took place.

I can’t comprehend how we even do this anymore. It’s just horrific. This is why I will not be apathetic about politics. We may very well be able to end the death penalty in the next decade if we don’t end up with another Scalia or Thomas on SCOTUS.
