I disagree. In fact, I don’t understand why NO ONE is talking about the obstruction of justice by the hotel and the police.  How can the NFL cops do their jobs?

Did you read the letter in its entirety? What you say, standing alone, is not illogical. It the context of the whole letter, it is crazy. It is also a wildly false choice between riding a skateboard or being a stripper.
