I agree. Most NFL QBs do not see this world through this lens. They are also pretty young. I’m curious about what drives him and he is not leaving a lot of clues by not articulating his motives. I’m going to generous and assume you are under 15. There are many players in the Hall of Fame who did not love football. It is a game where great talent overcomes a great deal. But in any event, there is a scale. NFL starting QBs have varying levels of passion and love for the game. 

None of those were the genesis of my question. I just don’t think like he seemed desperate to play again. Maybe he would rather advance social justice issues than play football. There is nothing wrong with that. I just wonder if the passion to play football burns inside him. From my question, I don’t think it does.…
