I think the hate comes from most gamers’ need to hyperbolize everything. Since DS2 wasn’t AS GOOD as the first, that means it’s absolute shit and needs to be completely forgotten altogether.

As far as I’m concerned every game in this series is, at the very least, a very good game (including BB & DeS). Your mileage may vary and for most people their first souls experience usually remains the favorite (I still sometimes try and convince myself that DeS is the better game than DS1) just because of how unique

DS2 is a good game, but only if you have the complete experience (The Three Crowns DLC, The Scholar of the First Sin patch, the patch that fixed weapon durability). It’s a pretty enjoyable experience but it is not DS1. I understand people complain a lot about DS2 depending a lot in mobs to create its difficulty, not

DS2 wasn’t the best in the series, but it certainly wasn’t bad. This does look a lot better, but there’s no reason to forget DS2 completely.

ds2 is good.

Bloodborne is different, try Dark Souls, but stay away from Dark Souls 2. DS is basically an action RPG like a Metroidvania, it’s the Castlevania Konami was never able to do. It’s also slower and more methodical.

I know. I can’t put my finger on it, but there’s something about Bloodborne that isn’t quite clicking. I think it may be the overemphasis on offensive rather than defensive strategy.

The Souls wikis are not as deep as people think. 90% of the content on the wikis are strategies for bosses and walkthroughs. Very little of it is actual lore discussion and theorising, which is a shame since that’s what I love most about the souls games.

Most of the stuff in the world is either borrowed, copied, or inspired by something else.

This honestly sounds like a hater trying to bring down the big dog so to speak. When there is work he's done over a period of years and only snippets that seem similar when working with limited source material it just seems to be cherry picking and trying to bring himself into the limelight and get some of that

Yes! These roses have thorns.

Where’s Margaery?! She wasn’t outwardly miserable (because she’s a boss bitch who is playing the Lannisters and will get what she wants), but I think her and her cleavage enhancing dresses deserve some mention don’t you?

The wedding between Sansa and Ramsay would’ve been 1000% more awesome if that fur stole had come with a hood shaped like dire wolf’s head...which Sansa could’ve slipped on in order to warg out and tear out his guts with her wolf teeth afterward.

The latest episode made me want a winter wedding. The snow looks so pretty and I’d finally have an excuse to wear a kick ass cloak. I’ll take a pass on marrying into a family of psychopaths though.

I think it’s too early to say ‘Sansa’s scene contributed nothing’ because we still haven’t seen how she reacts to it, people are acting like the scene didn’t contribute anything when we are only half way through the season and have plenty of time for things to transpire. As well, I think it’s important to show that

THIS!!!!

I agree. It WAS horrific. It was meant to be. Someone on another thread mentioned that many people don’t understand how there can be such a thing as marital rape, and I think this really showcased that being married and not wanting to have sex with someone is regular, old fashioned rape (and yes, I am horrified this

WORD. i have been spouting this anywhere and everywhere. Let’s not hide rape behind a closed door or in the dark, or make it cute (oh, look, Cersei was enjoying it there at the end!) or just mundane (Dothraki gonna dothrak...). That scene was horrific, and in the moment, I was dreading it but I was also glad that it

The scene of Sansa being raped was brutal, but I’m not mad that they showed it precisely because I think a lot of people don’t yet understand that rape is brutal. Also, I didn’t interpret the scene as a glorification of rape, but rather an indictment of it, seeing as it was designed to be gut-wrenching to watch.

Oh lord. Just stop. You’ve been watching Game of Thrones for five years and this is the thing that does it for you? How’d you make it past the first episode? What did you even think this show was about?
