Wednesday night me and the fiance went for dinner and to see Doctor Strange, just for some escapism. The restaurant was dead, the streets were empty, and there was almost no one at the theater, save the guy with his head in his hands at a table by the popcorn stand.

Yeah, I’m out. I don’t have the resources to leave now but I will in a few years. If we are this scared of brown people, gay people and women then I don’t want to stick around. Even if we recover someday I won’t forget this. This isn’t my country anymore.
