Agreed, the dems have a lot to work with, hopefully they use it.
There was a Republican strategist who worked for the Bushes on NPR this morning and he outright said with Trump’s new anti-ACA push he basically handed the Democrats their message for 2020. Especially that exact same message was a huge help in 2018.
Oxymorons are words that mean opposite things, like “jumbo shrimp.” “Republican idiot” is more just redundant.
This is the big question. Trump and Co. are being quiet about the whole thing so far. Something is up... it’s too quiet.
It could have a lot to do with:
1. Societal stigma against creepy old men paying for hand jobs.
2. The fact he represents a billion dollar team franchise that caters to people who perpetuate weird social stigma against creepy old men paying for hand jobs.
3. What he did happens to be illegal so he has to choose his…
Empire? That word doesn’t mean what I think you think it means.
It’s worth reiterating that the investigation was into Russian interefence in the 2016. The investigation was not into whether Donald Trump colluded with Russia. That certainly could fall under “Russian interference” but the investigation wasn’t specifically about Trump. I just want to remind people of that because…
Well, here we go. I don’t expect this report to contain a smoking gun on collusion, largely because—as others have said well before I ever did (and said it better), I feel like Trump’s just enough of an insecure egoist that he’d be sucking Putin’s toes for recognition from an actual “strong man” with or without undue…
I suspect the AG will almost immediately proclaim the report a wash and confirm “no collusion”, which Trump will then bray throughout the 2020 election and beyond.
It will. Eventually. The real question is how much of it will be redacted, and how soon it will be released. The Democrats in the House have already promised to subpoena it, so I suspect Barr will release a heavily redacted version to the public. When the redacted parts are eventually released I predict it will be…
I tend to see McCain’s war service and McCain’s time as a politician separately, and while I respect one, that doesn’t mean I have to ignore my issues with the other.
I think this is a serious mischaracterization of the Dems actual position. I think their public (and private) stance is more a reframing of the debate. I’m referring specifically to Pelosi’s comments downplaying impeachment. If the Democrats say, “No big deal, the Mueller report’s probably not damning, so we shouldn’t…
Just a couple of reminders:
I mean, but McCain was all but licking Trump’s shoes up till his death.
In a later segment, Bartiromo specifies that this interview had no stipulations.... Surprise, Trump lies! Again!

Keep your expectations low and hope for the best.
Oh, I work; I teach, but as a professor, I have an awful lot of office hour time.
Most students don’t use it until toward the end of the semester, when they collectively realize that they’re getting a grade—so if I’m not grading, attending committee meetings, or reading, I’m probably killing time here.
...and the whole,…
Lol, I guarantee what happened is someone told him maybe he should try not to insult McCain in this interview, and this brain genius interpreted what was intended as “Show some restraint and decency so we don’t have to deal with the fallout of yet another instance of you lashing out at a dead man over some old shit”…
