Van Dyke, but ok.

To be fair, the only reason he is being criticized as a pro-Trump party hack is because he’s a pro-Trump party hack.

This was more than 20+ years ago, but sure, good for you.

I view McCain as a war hero--the fact that it was a bad war doesn’t change that for me. But he certainly was a moral coward regarding Trump.

Or you could look it up on your google machine.

While Republicans have relied more heavily on gerrymandering, Democrats have also done it in some instances, such as Maryland.

Today Trump tweeted that Israel should keep the Golan Heights. When asked if he had done that to help Netanyahu’s reelection chances, he said he didn’t “know anything about that.”

Oh, I definitely feel responsible for all societal pressures and bad practices, for sure. Happy now?

You would be wrong. I could not have cared less, and was surprised when he came to us to ask.

Yep. This was 20+ years ago.

You would make an excellent parent. No, really.

So fix society. Meanwhile...

The Democrats are getting very “strange.”

Again, very different than a criminal indictment. The Clinton case settled the question of whether a president could be sued in a civil case.

When our second son was born, my wife decided that he would not be circumcised, unlike our older son and myself. I was fine with that. At about age 12, he asked to be circumcised because all his friends were.

But forcing a deposition is surely different than an indictment, right?

Sure, but being named a co-conspirator conveys a lot more.

And here’s another complication: if a sitting president cannot be convicted (not yet proven in court), and Trump is re-elected, does he get off scott-free since most federal crimes have a 5-year statute of limitations?

Serious question, which I have attempted to research without much result: can a sitting president be indicted in state court? Anyone know?

What happens if Trump is named an “unindicted co-conspirator” a la Nixon?
