I really don’t think its going to be called “Mustang” at all. I think they’re just running around with “Mustang-inspired” because its a good buzz word.

The Mustang is a good looking car. Using its styling cues on another car is good. This is the right position. 

As a S550 Mustang owner, I am excited for this. Everyone is freaking out because they see Mustang and Electric together but dont see that its just a styled inspiration. Most act like the regular Mustang is just going to disappear which is not the case, there is nothing wrong with more options.
