*cough*dieselgate*, err, unintended acceleration, uhh, ignition switch recall... standards

Company 'A' and 'B' both sell $100k of product. 'A' makes $80k profit and calls it a day. 'B' takes the same profit and puts all of it into R&D and expansion, leaving no money leftover. Which company is better managed?

It's curious that you missed the point of the article you linked to: Tesla=Apple in our market, Nissan=Android for rest of the world. The difference is that Tesla is aggressive about expanding and dominating the EV race.

LOLOL projecting a bit much, beta male?

Interesting article in that it was unbiased and informative. Basically Nissan is choosing quantity over quality, with a massive manufacturing advantage that is being utilized to the most. Still, the Koreans have a better product, and Tesla specifically is light-years away tech wise. Good products sell, and Tesla will

Tesla invested in what matters most, the battery. Just like the vast majority of cars on the road, if you drive the hell out of it, overheating happens.

You know things are bad when the Koreans are going farther in a charge for 25% the price of the Porsche.

And big, very big motors

Tesla should keep putting bigger better batteries in their products and continue to make the legacy automakers look as incompetent as possible. The only other major player taking EV seriously is Ford, and I believe they will be the first one to actually not embarrass themselves once the inevitable comparison to Tesla

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the opening picture was "so that's what is left after being mauled by the model S"

Porsche just had to pick the fight, didn't they? I predict (after Tesla figures out how to set appointments) a software update codenamed "record breaker" to blast Porsche away while not overheating. Hell the model 3 already dethroned the BMW M3 so it's logical to kill Porsche at their own game, in their hometown, on a

My bronco. Horrendous mpg, but it has a 32 gallon tank so I can make a 300+ mile trek in the middle of nowhere without a sweat. Literally millions of F series will be scattered around the country so on the fly repairs are easy. Along with high factory ground clearance and ton of interior room it's not uncomfortable to

Funny how the basic premise of the argument is lost. It's ok though, one day, many years from now, you may be able to understand elections and how a republic works

Um, that's still less than half. Just saying

Agreed, California needs to get rid of all their bureaucrats and get on board with the rest of the country

Im making 32% MORE this year than last. In general the economy is doing a hell of a lot better than a few years ago

Why is it so heavy?

How about a State refusing to allow product sales that meet Federal requirements? Can't have it both ways (which is how California is now) try stepping away from the hate and see the actual argument that the Fed is making.

Why so angry? The basis of what the Fed is doing is that a state doesn't have more authority than the federal government. What repercussions are you talking about?

The real point is making the rules evenly applied across the board. Deregulation as you are describing doesn't apply. California is living in their own bubble and now Trump is making them play by the same rules.
