Well, sure, but someone decided the doctor was legally allowed to perform it. The doctor's right to perform it and the woman's right to seek it out didn't happen in a vacuum.

Thanks for pretending I meant Huffy and not huffy!
Because there's no logical way to have only the people directly affected by something to have the control?
If I were speaking of the brand, I would have capitalized it.
Or what, I think.
Gay Men and Lesbians (and Bisexuals, too) all have different needs in addition to the ones that are similar. Only each group should be allowed to decide things that affect them. Trans have separate issues, so they should also have their own trans legislators.
No medical procedure is regulated only by the doctors that perform them, though.
My logic is sound. Yours seems to be clouded by huffy indignation.
I don't know how one could stop people from legislating abortion without stopping them from legislating everything else they legislate about people's bodies, unless we become an unregulated libertarian hellscape.
I can't speak to whether or not you're radical, nor can I speak to whether or not people should have legislative control over other people's bodies without pulling out all the threads of if who should have say over whom. They just simply do. That's how it works.
They are connected in the sense that in this society, we don't let the only the people who are directly affected by something have legislative control over it.
This season was wildly uneven and inferior to season 1 in every way, but I did enjoy the crazy turns it took in the last few episodes.
How does it make sense that people can vote on the lives of gay people when they aren't gay?
As a gay man, I will stop having an opinion on abortion when straight people stop having an opinion on how gay people should live their lives.
People just savaged this poor kid over those comments, too. And a Bryan Singer joke on a recent Difficult People didn't even blip on the internet torch mob's radar!
I seem to remember him both playing coy AND being litigious. He was all "was it really a secret?" when he came out. Not to the people your people threatened to sue!
Hey, everyone has their things. I just couldn't take the the fry and weird pronunciations anymore after ten or so episodes.
Also, remember when Ioan Gruffudd had a movie career?
I listened to this for a while, but eventually had to stop. The Kardashian voice was irritating enough, but the bizzarro mispronunciations of commonplace words got to be too much.
Love him, hate her, show meh.
