In my state (PA), we are enabling “ride on red” legislation next week that allows people to ride against a red (after stopping, no required wait time) if they believe the light to be defective. Whether or not you stay at a red light is based on belief.

As a motorcyclist, I believe all lights to be defective. Can’t

This was true before they started forcing ethanol on the market, and you now get less rust water as a result.

Bluetooth audio quality sucks. Audio dropouts suck. Line-out or better.

I was lead mechanic/van crew for Danny in 2001. We supported him to a third place finish in Pensacola that year. I’ve seen him fall asleep while riding, in the wee hours of morning, 36+ hours without sleep... a gentle honk on the horn got him on track again.

This news is heartbreaking. He had this goal; this goal that

its a silly metric, and yes it is used. And I all but guarantee that I can show you bikes with one rate that are higher than another bike with double the displacement.

I can guarantee Ill never see replacement parts (Takata Airbag Actuator) for the open warranty on my car. If after 3 months there is NOTHING, it is quite obvious that they (auto manufacturer) are not doing all they can.

The recall process in the US is a joke.

And therein is the issue “trying to find the best car for the money”. People are hunting for this goal more than just ‘the perfect car for my needs’. As such, the cars are dumbed down to lowest common denominators, this is why transmission options are so depressing.

“Better knowledge”...

Go to any brand’s website and you can configure a car and choose every option you want, but you can’t “add to cart”, not even by securing the order with credit card, as this is not what dealers want to do. They don’t want to order cars, they want to talk you into what is on their lot.

The biggest travesty of all is that while you can rate a car on Amazon, you can’t buy one.

I am of the belief that you cannot buy a car 100% as you want, and this is intentional.

Well, when automatics are better than manuals in everyway, maybe youll have a worthwhile argument. But since they are more expensive, heavier and harder/more expensive to fix, I’ll stick to a transmission that I can break down to component parts in my own garage, thanks.

I’ll never own a slushbox.

Ehh, 220K on my Cherokee yielded an O2 sensor, a slave cylinder rebuild at the rear axle, front wheel bearings, tires, light bulbs, brake pads and fluids. The clutch was still stock when it was total’d away from me.

And that was driven off-road and hammered.

In the initial phases of automation, when automated cars are the minority, it should ABSOLUTELY be required to speed if the flow of traffic is faster than the speed limit. Statistically, you are safer driving at the speed of the flow of traffic, not arbitrary numbers on a sign.

I can configure a car on the dealer’s website, but I can’t get that car at the dealer. OK, where can I get it? Can I just hit add to cart and have it delivered to the dealer? Please?!?!

There is NO WAY for me to buy the car I want, even though it is offered on the dealer’s website.

Dealer direct is going to hurt the

You clearly don’t understand that the majority of drivers don’t have a CDL.

There is no reason to use this word as a pejorative. It shows someone that has a lack of vocabulary as well of a lack of compassion and understanding.

Can you please just use words correctly so i don’t have to use phrases like “negatively advance the timing”?

AUTOMATE ALL BIKE SHARE BICYCLES

As a PAMSP RiderCoach, I can confirm this is a common statement.

For those of you armchair coaches out there, the MSF does not teach you to deal with such things. Im glad you could have handled things better, but we all cant be experienced riders when we hit the streets.

Blaming the motorcyclist is in poor taste, but

I had a 98 XJ that I put 220000 miles on before it was totalled out from under me. Most reliable vehicle I owned, by a longshot, and was like a go-cart in the snow.

I never had an issue, but tires make a big difference, and I leave my 4WD engaged even over the non-slippery patches. In fact, it ran snow better than my

1) Driving ability
2) Tires
3) Everything else.

That said, you didn’t pass me.
