I would do something horrible to anyone who damaged my books. As it is, I won’t lend out any of my books since I’ve had a few never come back, including a book that was out of print and hard to find (at that time). 

I have tried these food deliver services. The service just generally sucks. My problem is that the food always arrives luke warm, at best. Having to reheat my food makes it rather worthless to me, especially as it costs more than regular delivery services.

Are you at least able to try on the clothes? If so, please tell me that they get washed. At least, when you try on and then buy clothes, they’ve probably only been tried on 2 or 3 times (I hope). 

Here in Canada, the in store Ikea restaurants are liquor licensed. I’ve actually taken people on dates to Ikea (which went over hilariously well). More than once, I have gone to Ikea with friends and we’ve gotten lightly trashed.

Actually, mail carriers in Canada don’t get twice our minimum wage and that isn’t even the real fight right now, it is under staffing of employee along with underpaying of overtime.

Beyond parcels, the only legitimate mail I get anymore is my visa bill because I would have to pay for some emailed bill service (I wish I was joking) for a second party provider. I don’t know why this particular Visa card does it as the debit card statements that I get from the same bank are emailed to me.

No, it won’t. The back log might cost a day, at most. The transportation industry in general is good at adjusting to surges of packages far better than you realize.

It just means you get hit with it all the next day. Mail carriers get paid by the piece of junk mail that they deliver so you know that you will be getting it all, no matter what.

Standard postal service is a great thing. When I get stuff shipped up here to Canada from the States, I usually prefer USPS over FedEx and UPS. For one, USPS isn’t all that slow. Or just invest in an artificial tree. As long as you avoid getting a prestrung tree (lights built into it) and always put it away properly, it’ll last you a long time. I’ve had mine for over a decade. My parents have one that is now passed 25 years of age.
